Orion180

Making complicated insurance products easier to understand, sell and act on.

I led product marketing, agent communications and campaign execution across homeowners and flood insurance while supporting a growing network of independent agents.

01 The Challenge

Insurance came with complexity before the campaign even started.

Agents had to understand product eligibility, coverage, underwriting changes, quoting procedures, platform updates and market differences before they could confidently sell.

My job was to turn that complexity into communication that made the next action obvious.

02 My Role

I worked at the intersection of product, sales and marketing.

I developed campaign strategy, messaging, agent communications and launch support while coordinating with product, underwriting, sales, technology, compliance, design, leadership and vendors.

01 / PRIVATE FLOOD

Reengage agents through education, not just promotion.

I used recurring educational touchpoints to keep Private Flood relevant and give agents more confidence discussing coverage with homeowners.

Campaign system

Educate.

Myth-versus-reality content, FAQs, product education and Private Flood versus NFIP positioning.

Agent engagement

Reengage.

Email campaigns, newsletter content, webinars, training and seasonal flood messaging.

Sales enablement

Quote.

Quote-and-bind reminders, sales resources and agent-facing communication tied to action.

02 / FLEX HOME INSURANCE

Translate launch details into a story agents could use.

I supported the Florida FLEX launch by turning product and underwriting details into clear agent-facing communication across email, FAQs, training, sales resources and MY180.

Make the product understandable before asking the agent to sell it.
03 / AGENT EDUCATION + MY180

Market what agents can do, not the software itself.

For MY180 and recurring training programs such as First Friday Flood, I focused communication on practical actions: quote, bind, learn, manage and move forward.

04 Takeaway

Complexity is often the marketing problem first.

I learned to understand the product deeply enough to simplify the decision without oversimplifying the details. That balance mattered in a category where accuracy, compliance, technology and sales all had to work together.
